Joan didn't have a cancer scare. She HAD cancer. She battled cancer for a year, she underwent chemotherapy then she BEAT cancer and was given a diagnosis of being cancer free. A year later. That is having cancer not Joan's cancer scare. #Elementary

Farewell #Elementary When @Elementary_CBS started I wasn't convinced. As a fan of #SherlockPBS I thought it was unnecessary, and I wasn't sure turning John into Joan would work because I thought there would be contrived love story which would turn predictable ... (1/4)

#Elementary ended on my favorite type of note: that while our time watching Sherlock, Joan, Marcus and Gregson's stories is over, the door remains open on them staying in touch and doing what they always did, as it should and always should be.

I'm mostly happy about the fact Sherlock and Joan remained friends throughout the whole show. They became very close, family, but there was never any romance and I think that's important. #Elementary

Think about this - Sherlock was standoffish with a superiority complex the size of Texas in season one, and at the end of season 7, he actually hugged Joan and promised to be with her through the worst - a masterclass in character growth. #Elementary

It’s 7 years since #Elementary started airing; it has some of the most captivating quiet character moments that make you want to /live/ bc of how tender and layered the relationship between Sherlock + Joan is. definitely a show to rewatch to keep that light of hope flickering💕✨
